passing by and stopped

I passed by at a shop for used bicycles. They were standing outside parked backwards at a fency and all I could see were the rear lights of the bikes.

Ich fuhr gerade an einem Gebraucht-Fahrrad-Laden vorbei, als ich die Rückleuchten der Räder wahrnahm. Die Räder waren rückwärts an einen Zaun geparkt, so dass auf der anderen Seite nur die roten Rücklichter zu sehen waren.
